The answer is yes. But you have to make something clear: in any healthy diet, especially diets to lose weight, you can not miss the vegetables. If you eat vegetables, you are eating healthy, and will not go wrong, but there are some healthier than other vegetables. So maybe you wonder what you should eat vegetables. Not all are equal; in fact, there are vegetables that contain fewer nutrients than you thought, and therefore are not as many beneficial properties for the body. This does not mean you should not include in your balanced diet, it simply means you have to keep in mind.

1. Arugula

It gives a special bitter taste to salads and pizzas, but the rocket is not as nutritious as other vegetables. A portion of arugula contributes only 4% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C. Why can then be replaced? For the wonderful kale, also known as cabbage, which has become the fashionable super food.Kale is an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin K, magnesium and calcium. In addition, vitamins A and K help to better absorb nutrients and healthy fats. So it is ideal to combine with avocado or chia seeds in a smoothie, for example, or in a salad of kale.

2. Iceberg lettuce

It contains a lot of water, but just iceberg lettuce provides essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins C and K, folate, iron, calcium and magnesium. It is also one of the vegetables with less vitamin A, necessary to reduce inflammation, among other properties.A good substitute mustard greens are rich in vitamin A and antioxidant properties. One way of cooking mustard is sautéed in a pan with olive oil and garlic. A healthy and delicious dish! Get More Recipe Here http://www.foodrestores.com/ct/weight-loss/

3. Dandelion leaves

The dandelion leaves also are among the most nutritious vegetables. It is better for beet source of essential minerals. They contain twice as magnesium and potassium dandelion. In addition, they are contributing 15% of the recommended daily allowance of iron. They are also ideal for experimenting in the kitchen when preparing healthy recipes. Sautéed with a little lemon juice or salad with feta cheese, beet greens are delicious.

4. Red Leaf Lettuce

Rich in fiber, vitamin A and vitamin K, its vitamin C, iron, folate, calcium and magnesium is low. Red leaf lettuce carries even less percentage of that iceberg lettuce these essential nutrients. Instead, it opts for turnip greens, more nutritious, especially folate and calcium.
In case you did not know, folate is necessary to secrete serotonin, the happiness hormone, as it prevents depression.

5. Green cabbage

Green cabbage can not miss on diets to lose weight because it is low in calories. Therefore, it is ideal for soups and recipes for weight loss. No clutch, Chinese cabbage contains twice as much calcium and is rich in beta-carotene, an antioxidant that fights inflammation, also good for the eyes and skin.
