My Story
As a retired, empty nester, I had gotten mighty sedentary On July 6, 2009, I decided I didn't like being 160 pounds At first I was simply eating Mediterranean style - mostly fish and veggies and using the treadmill Then I discovered Matthew's calorie counter and hoop dancing The two have become part of my daily lifestlye Concentrating on the basics, calorie counting and exercise, I surpassed my goal of 125 by Thanksgiving Counting calories took off the weight and hoop dancing took it off in the right places A former life long, self-proclaimes queen of big hips and thunder thighs, I now love being able to just throw anything on and not look bottom heavy I have more energy, I'm emotionally happier and I've gone from a size 16 to a size 6! I have lost more than 37 pounds and am in the best shape of my life I never want to go back
