Its September already, where's this new site update??
It's coming, no really it is!
With school looming dangerously close, I have had to break this rebuild up into three phases. Phase One has been going on throughout the summer, which is the core redesign of the site. Phase 2 would be an extension of Phase One content, but conditioned on how well Phase One launches. Confused yet, great, so am I ; ), but the good news is that the rebuild is going better than I could have anticipated. I am pushing to have Phase One up and going within a few weeks.

So here it is, the core, my Pièce de résistance, the heart of the MaCC, the NEW Calorie Counter Page.
This page pushed me to my limits, almost to the point of burn out. While most other pages take me about a day to complete/rebuild, this one took me over two weeks, literally working from sun up, till midnight every day.
Pictures just don't do it justice, here is my new baby:
Up CLose Here is a closer look at your new Food Library and Food Journal. The simplicity is still there, but now it should feel much more complete.
You should notice that you are only seeing three other nutrient values in addition to the food calories. Those are called your Tracking Nutrients. You can change what your top three tracking nutrients are. This was done for space and simplicity. You will be able to see a full nutrient readout within your Diet Statistics page.
The New Nutrient Pop Ups When you hover over a food, you will now get the full nutrient label values.
This is the new Food Addition function You have many more options when adding new foods, plus with a cool new feature of adding your food to the public food system for others to use ; )
Meal Addition This was a much requested feature that I was very happy to put in. It came out VERY well. All you do is transfer food from your library, and the nutrient totals will add up. Give it a name and add it to your Food Library.
Right now this page is very heavy on web 2.0 stuff, which should not be a problem if you have JavaScript enabled (does anyone NOT have this enabled anymore??). I really need to launch this thing before school starts ><, speaking of launching, it's time for lunch!
