My Story

Greetings!! My name is Wendy and I am a bariatric patient who is 6 years out. My weight fluctuates between 220-235lbs. During the winter months, I didn't exercise at all with the exception of a weekly step aerobics class. So now I'm on the heavier side of my range now. But the weather has been beautiful and I'm a walker, so I walk the Lake Shore Drive trail as often as possible. I walk a 5K in about 49-50 mins.

My Goals For This Year:

I want to get back to the low end of my range, around 215-220 lbs. I feel my healthiest in that range. I've also discovered I'm lighter in the summer and fall than in the winter and spring.
