I have my laptop set up next to my elliptical. I like to watch mostly Sci Fi, using Hulu or Netflix. Most episodes are only 45min, perfect work out time.

My wife likes watching House Hunters.

Watching a good show seems to make the time go by a lot faster than listening to music, at least for me ; )

I watch show on Hulu while workng out on my treadmill. It definitely helps the time go by faster and gives me more motivation to work out. I do that 3 days a week and then 1 or two days a week I do a Jillian exercise video. The "No More Trouble Zones" is a good 40 min workout.

My exercise of choice is hoop dancing, so I go with whatever music I find that has a good dance beat. I've put together several playlists on my mp3 player and/or on cd. The playlists vary in length from 30-60 minutes so depending on how much time I have on a given day, I can pick a playlist accordingly.

dear rohrmr

I like to play on golf on my playstation while working out on the stationary bike as music does not work for me either. Probably any vidio game would work. Thanks for the tip about watching a good show while working out, i plan on trying it tomorrow.

I listen to audiobooks like Dr Oz - You on a walk or You on a Diet, or various health and motivation experts. I listen to all types of music. I'm starting to get more into watching videos while on equipment.
I love the biggest loser series of videos, but I love almost any fitness videos, even vintage ones from the 80s. I got about 50 from ebay, for $25, and I have a few favorites from the bunch. I don't have a bodybuilding video yet, but I'm looking for the best one to connect with. I have weight training for dummies dvd that I really enjoy.
I also really enjoy Kelly Bliss, for plus size people. She has a great workout style, and the moves are easy and fun to follow the whole hour.

Wow Paula, hoola hoop for fitness, what a great idea! Now I'm remembering how much I loved it as a kid!
Your icon is great! I'm going to look into it. It looks so fun! I will probably need a lot of practice.

Good ideas I am gonna try to bring my netbook in the room I have my treadmill. The main reason I wasnt using it was because I thought it was boring that way looking at a video might keep my mind preoccupied while I walk.

I train on the treadmill 6 days a week from 45 to 60 minutes. I connect my laptop to a big screen and I choose films or documentaries on youtube.

I agree with you! The use of documentations, music although even football and baseball matches and watching other such type of things also helps to maintain your stamina while exercising.

I listen songs and novels depending on mind. During workouts never watch T.V, or don't make any other activity because little mistake may cause you and you may get hospitalized. Here is the link of Dave Ruel novel which I listen most and its my one of the most favorite novel. I hope you will also enjoy this novel after listening it.
