Exercises are now calculated dynamically. This opens the door to many different possibilities, including the sharing of exercises between support group members.

You only have enter an exercise one time into your library. When transferring that exercise to your Exercise Log, your current weight, duration and the exercise value is used to determine how many calories you burned.

To make this all work I had to put on my math hat and figure out how to reverse engineer manually inputted exercises to work with future weight and duration differences and to work with other Support Group Members. Took some time, but it works, and it works beautifully!!

Old Exercises
Because old exercise entries did not record exercise durations it is not possible to recalculate the burned calories with new exercise durations (there was no way to get the base exercise values from existing information). You will have to re-add them or use them literally.

Misc Addition
Just like the way the Food Misc Additions work, you can now do Misc Additions for Exercises.

Manual Additions
Manual additions can also be calculated dynamically. We can derive the exercise value from your burned calories, duration and weight and then reuse that figure to calculate your future burned calories based on duration and your current weight.

This allows you and your friends to continually use that same exercise, no matter what future weights and durations you put in. Cool Stuff!

Literal Additions
If you do not want your exercise to be calculated dynamically, you can specify a Literal addition. The burned calories for that exercise will always have the initial calories you assigned. Literal additions cannot be recalculated with different exercise durations.

**Literal Additions are only available under Manual Addition

Daily Adjustments
Daily Adjustments are now static, but used dynamically. Meaning that your current daily adjustment (if enabled), will be used in today's and any past calculations. That's the simplest way I can put it. This should make your Daily Adjustments much more accurate, which in turn will make you EWL more accurate.

**You may notice that your existing EWL is a little off when you log in. This should correct itself after your next weigh in.

Lastly, all these changes were made to make MaCC's friendlier to use and for future changes. If you have any additional feedback or questions, please feel free to submit them by PM, Forum or Feedback form.

Happy Dieting!
