Hi, my hubby met with an accident recently which made him difficult to walk. He had undergone two surgeries on his left leg. Last week, he suddenly fell to the ground while trying to walk. His right leg got injured. But there are only slight injuries. Now, he is unable to move due to this. The doctor advised undergoing physiotherapy treatments for him. He suggested taking consultation with one of the physiotherapists from a clinic in Mississauga. He told that they provide post-surgery rehabilitation, which helps in reducing pain and inflammation, reduces stiffness and strengthens the specific muscles to help in stabilizing the joint. We are planning to take an appointment from there. Because my hubby needs a quick relief from this state. He is too much worried about this. I can't see him depressed. But before undergoing the treatment, I would like to know the duration of this treatment. How long it will take to get the desired results? I heard that this procedure is painful. Is it possible to take painkillers for the pain? If anybody knows about this, please help me with your replies.
