Hi
I hope everyone is well today. I have just joined and am looking forward to this journey.
I had a very difficult surgery in August last year. It has been along recovery. I lost a whopping 45 lbs from the
surgery and am just now starting to feel better.
I want to continue loosing weight (the right way this time) and getting healthy.
I want to be around and in good shape to be with my grandchildren when they start coming.
Hopefully, that will be in the next year or so!!

Hello Charlie and Welcome!

Surgery can be tough. I had a major surgery about three years ago when I had cancer. Lost one of my kidneys and some other large masses, took a LONG time to recover completely.

My wife, “Gilligan” on the forums, is actually in the hospital right now and just had a major surgery.

It’s tough, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Hope this site can help you in one way or the other.

Lord Bless,

Matthew
